Upcoming US Rum Releases of Note - July 23, 2022
Periodically I review the US TTB label database to discover what new rums have received label approval. While not a guarantee that they will be available, they signal that the producer or importer strongly intends to bring them to market. Also, it may be many months before these bottles appear on store shelves. The list below is a highly filtered subset of recent label approvals, i.e., only what I consider notable.

ISAUTIER
This brand is appearing in the US for the first time. Two rums, each 16 years aged. One is cane juice, the other molasses.
Transcontinental Rum Line
More additions to the collection of single-cask releases from the independent bottler arm of La Maison du Whisky.
El Salvador 2007, Belize 2007, Trinidad 2006, Fiji 2014, Worthy Park 2006.
Rhum Clement
A series of six expressions finished in different types of casks, e.g., Pedro Ximinez.
Amagi
A Japanese brand arrives in the US with a series of expressions, including a pot distilled 9-year. At this point in time, there are very few, if any, Japanese rums imported into the US.
Myrtle Bank
A second expression from the recently launched Myrtle Bank brand. This one a 10-year aged Jamaican tiki blend selected by Shannon Mustipher.
Tamosi
Netherlands-based independent bottler Benjamin Boothe’s Tamosi brand finally arrives in the US with a 2009 Bielle rum dubbed Sawaku.
Renegade
At last, Grenada’s Renegade distillery brings its single farm cane juice rums to the US with two expressions from Pearls and New Bacolet.
Bologne
Venerated rum expert and importer Ed Hamilton brings yet another rhum agricole brand to the US, the time Rhum Bologne from Guadeloupe. (Two expressions.)
Don Q
The venerated Puerto Rican distiller is releasing two new cask finishes: Zinfandel and Port.
