It's such an overwhelming experience, including being extremely hot, wearing a helmet, and juggling multiple cameras that it's easy to tune out something like flies.
Are you able to describe, to the best of your memory, what the muck pit actually smelled like? I have read time and time again that it smells "foul", but what kind of foul? (full transparency, I have been doing some experiments behind out distillery and they smell bloody foul, but I'm not certain if it's the right kind of foul smell). Sorry fi this is confusing, haha

I am studying the possibilities of the transfer of microorganisms responsible for fermentation by flies =)
It looks like it is, from want of a better word, agricultural, and almost a DIY distillery. I kind of love it for that!
