Been drinking Barrilito for at least 50 years when you could purchase a three star for under 10 dollars at the corner grocery in San Juan. Sad to hear that it is more of a Cuban rum today then what it was back then.

Being Puerto Rican I have Three star in my home. Seems disappointing if it's made in DR and basically finished in PR. Thanks for the education. Have you done one of these on Don Q? 🫣

Here’s the thing, when you start from a very light base, it doesn’t really matter where it came from. The real character of RdB comes from what happens in PR.
